We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate recruiting to play a key role in supporting our recruitment team, focusing on talent acquisition for our corporate division.

This is a full-time, permanent position based out of Calgary, AB. The role is hybrid, working in the office 1 day per week. 

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

  • Create compelling job postings, post jobs, source passive candidates.
  • Proactively source, assess and engage potential candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Sourcing top talent through headhunting.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Recruitment Process Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection process.
  • Facilitate the background check and offer stage process.
  • Participate in job fairs, campus recruiting events, and other recruitment initiatives.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through the onboarding process.

Collaboration and Relationship Building:

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their current and forecasted recruitment needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to fill the roles.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of departmental requirements and objectives.
  • Establish meaningful connections to gain insights into candidate preferences and foster engagement by constructing a robust talent network.
  • Network with industry professionals and keep abreast of developments in talent acquisition.

  • Demonstrated experience recruiting diverse salaried and corporate positions, with a successful track record of hiring top talent.
  • A track record of attracting candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.
  • Demonstrate resilience in managing the pressures associated with tight deadlines and concurrent priorities.
  • Exhibit adaptability to consistently deliver optimal performance, especially when navigating challenging situations with a quick turnaround.
  • Can demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with many diverse types of hiring managers.
  • Possess and leverage robust negotiation skills to effectively navigate and secure mutually beneficial agreements throughout the recruitment process.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices and labour legislation.
